Other Causes I Have Supported
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (left) is a non-profit organization located in Memphis, Tennessee that is working to cure children with cancer. The hospital provides children with free care, saying that all the family should have to worry about is their child getting better. Donations contribute to cutting-edge discoveries and the ability to give children free treatment.
WE Charity (center) is a non-profit organization started by Craig and Marc Kielburger in 1995 focused on youth empowerment and human rights. Through WE Charity, I have supported two villages in Haiti: Dos Palaís and Kabayi, and have raised money to construct wells and build dormitories for children whose homes were destroyed in the 2010 earthquake. These dormitories give the children a chance to be able to get an education and break the cycle of poverty.
The White Kitty Foundation (right- this is my dog, who my family adopted from the WKF) was a local animal rescue run by Cris and Bob Tarozzi. Their goal was to give dogs and cats who have struggled through difficult lives the love and care they need before they find a forever home. Donations went towards food, toys, and veterinary care.
