we will fight for justice
Systemic racism has plagued the US since its formation, and in solidarity with those fighting to end the cruelty and injustice towards Black people in America, all proceeds from jewelry sales will be directed to the Color of Change foundation, which is a leading organization working to secure racial justice across the country. Causes I am Supporting
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (far left) is a non-profit organization located in Memphis, Tennessee that is working to cure children with cancer. The hospital provides children with free care, saying that all the family should have to worry about is their child getting better. Donations contribute to cutting-edge discoveries and the ability to give children free treatment.
WE Charity (center) is a non-profit organization started by Craig and Marc Kielburger in 1995 focused on youth empowerment and human rights. Through WE Charity, I have supported two villages in Haiti: Dos Palaís and Kabayi, and have raised money to construct wells and build dormitories for children whose homes were destroyed in the 2010 earthquake. These dormitories give the children a chance to be able to get an education and break the cycle of poverty.
The White Kitty Foundation (far right- this is my dog, who my family adopted from the WKF) is a local animal rescue run by Cris and Bob Tarozzi. Their goal is to give dogs and cats who have struggled through difficult lives the love and care they need before they find a forever home. Donations go towards food, toys, and medical care. The WKF holds adoption days the first Saturday of every month in the Danville Pet Food Express.
